Details:
My concept is a constantly changing aurora, which will make me think it is more natural and interesting.

This video is generated from this background music, I can change different music to generate different special changing aurora.I used the frequency of a piece of sound to convert it into data, and then used the data as a factor to affect the flow of the aurora. I limited the adjustable content to the RGB color, so as to change the color of the aurora according to my preference.

I want to create a quiet atmosphere, so I chose ambient music as the background music.

Generative Art

--Digital Paint--

I want to create some organic textures in this project, which are always changing. These computer-generated images look like the surface of flowing paint in reality, so I call them digital paint.

--Human-Machine--

This idea comes from my usual experience dazing at home watching surrounding products.

If I change a perspective, I can find that many things will become different. The relationship between motion and stillness can be changed mutually.

Neuronal Creation

--Fake Faces--

#groupwork

The people in this video are created by AI and neuronal networks. They never existed.

These faces are not real but are generated by the neural network. You can see the transformation effect of the face in the video. A face dissolves and creates a new face. All these are just familiar and blurred pixels. The music I chose is remixed 8-bit style music, which uses simple “music pixels” to mix into different emotions.

WOW Moment

--Stay between Virtual and Reality--

I saw this video about three years ago, and I was immediately attracted by the perfor- mance of this show. The performer leaned against the wall. The ground and the wall were whitened by the light from the projection. There was no music here, he didn't move, and I didn't dare to breathe out loud.

He sat alone, there was a fence around, there was an abyss, black flying fish appeared, I feel like I was taken into this scene by him, and as he became curious and cautious, there was gradually music here, and suddenly he floated up . This shocked me. I felt strange and curious. He did a lot of complicated movements. Finally, the camera's angle of view turned to the other side, and I realized that I was looking from the top down.

This is the first time I really realized that the boundary between reality and virtuality has disappeared. Afterwards, I found its introduction on the Internet. This performance used real-time rendering technology and multi-angle projection technology.

The artwork turns the invisible patterns of wind in and around Boston into a series of poetic data painting within a 6’ x 13’ digital screen.
one-year data(20-second intervals) collected from Boston Logan Airport.

You might not be able to see it, but when it's windy outside, you certainly feel it.But this artwork shows the little things that we don’t care about in nomal lives, while showing colorful and amazing visual and sound effects.
